At Old Park Meadow we treat every family with the delicate care and attention they deserve.  We take it upon ourselves to ensure every ceremony will be of the highest standard.  We understand that nothing should be left to chance on such an important day, so our experienced team will always be on hand to guide you through the process. If you haven’t thought of it, we have!

Putting You and Your Loved Ones First

At Old Park Meadow there are no queues to get in, no waiting for the previous service to finish, no rush to get you out of the door – pick when and how you want your ceremony to be and we will deliver it, no questions asked.

With such a high demand for services at crematoriums, they can often provide only 1 hour slots. Rest assured you will have plenty more time at Old Park Meadow, and you will have plenty of room too with our hall that can hold over 200 people, a large reception and a car park with overflow area – all of which will not be occupied by other groups at the same time.

Old Park Lodge also has a number of other facilities that can contribute towards your ceremony, for more details click here.

We are the proud recipients of the Natural Death Centre’s (NDC) People’s Award for Best Natural Burial Ground in Eastern Britain and the UK as a whole. The NDC describe the People’s Awards as “all about the people involved, the level of service they provide, the personal touches and the impact that each natural burial ground manager has made on the families of those who they have helped to bury.” The award is based on feedback forms sent to the NDC by families who attend services at natural burial grounds, these forms are then looked over by trustees and staff of the NDC to find a winner.

It is Old Park Meadow’s first priority to provide a memorable and caring experience to everyone who visits and we are extremely thankful to the NDC for recognising the hard work we have put into this. If you would like to see feedback sent by families to us please visit the Testimonials page.

Old Park Meadow is extremely pleased to have been awarded the Silver Award for Best Natural Burial Ground at the Cemetery of the Year Awards for three consecutive years. Philip Potts of the Memorial Awareness Board, which administers the awards said “the awards are an excellent opportunity to reward hard-working staff and demonstrate the central role Natural Burial Grounds can play in the community. They provide places of peaceful contemplation and beauty, as well as their ecological importance. The team at Old Park Meadow performed exceptionally throughout the extensive judging period which is focused on Industry Standards, Environmental Issues and Good Practice.”

We would like to thank the MAB, ICCM and all the organizations involved for this award, and for acknowledging the continued hard work Old Park Meadow puts into providing a reliable, professional and friendly service to all.
