Cremation Services at Old Park Meadow
At Old Park Meadow, we understand that choosing the right way to say goodbye is a deeply personal decision. During this time, we can help with the arrangements from connecting you with local funeral directors to arranging the service in our lodge to the interment of your loved one’s ashes within our grounds. We are here to help.
Cremation Options
We work with local funeral directors in Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk who can help arrange a cremation for your loved one.
- Direct Cremation: A simple option, providing a respectful cremation without a formal service at the crematorium. This allows for a private memorial service or the interment of ashes at a time and place of your choosing, perhaps within Old Park Meadow.
- Cremation with a Service: We can arrange a service in our lodge before or after the cremation takes place. This provides an opportunity for a more traditional farewell before or after your loved one’s committal.
What Happens Next?
Once the cremation or cremation service has taken place and you are looking for your loved one’s final resting place there is the option to inter your loved one’s ashes at Old Park Meadow:
- Interment of Ashes: You can choose a peaceful spot within the grounds to inter the ashes. You may wish to mark the spot with a simple wooden grave marker plaque or perhaps choose from a variety of memorial options to create a fitting tribute for your loved one.
